Adventures and Trails
This year, we have organized projects into seven Adventures for your campers to explore. Each covers a core topic common to Maker Camp. Those Adventures are further broken out into themed Trails that campers can follow to build their skills. Each Trail has a variety of related step-by-step Projects provided by our Featured Makers or pulled from the archives of Make: and CRAFT: magazines.
You can complete Projects in the order presented in the Trail or just pick the ones that appeal to you. You have complete freedom to use all the content in whatever way works best for your Maker Camp, mixing and matching based on camper interest, available materials, or time. We wanted to offer the greatest possible flexibility,
All Projects are marked by time needed to complete the project, the appropriate ages for each project, and the incoming skill level needed for the project (novice, intermediate, proficient, or advanced). These are guidelines provided by the Makers. You are welcome to adapt the Projects as needed to fit your needs or the needs of your campers.
You can use our category checkboxes to select your projects or drill down further with our search feature. Use the Favorites button to keep track of the Adventures and Projects you plan to use. For more on using our project library system, see Using LearnDash.
