Aáron Heard is the on-air talent for the “Learning in the Making” video series produced by MakerEd. She grew up in Los Angeles, graduated from USC with a degree in poetry before moving to Oakland to become a sixth-grade humanities teacher. Through professional development programs, she became familiar with maker education, and now she helps other teachers with learning in the making.
