Lesson 3 of 9
In Progress
  • Coin cell batteries are extremely dangerous if swallowed. Please keep them away from small children and pets.

  • All electrical projects carry some degree of risk. It is the facilitators responsibility to ensure campers know how to use materials to avoid short circuits, shock, and fire.

  • All tools must be used with care and consideration. If campers are new to a tool, take the time to instruct on proper use.

  • Be gentle with the leads on LEDs and the wires on motors. They can be easily damaged.

Maker Camp May 11, 2021
Maker Camp is a do-it-yourself online resource to help leaders like you organize a summer camp that engages children in making. Our goal is to provide you and your campers with the inspiration and the helpful resources, along with many possible projects to fit a wide range of interests and abilities. The idea is to focus on making as a playful, social activity. Maker Camp provides enough support for anyone to get started. Making provides experiences that help children become self-directed learners and good problem-solvers.
