In this session, we’ll cover the basics to get you started filming and editing your own maker videos. Learn tips and tricks for software, camera gear, microphones, lighting, and more. This is for the absolute beginner who doesn’t know where to start and finds all the information out there simply too daunting.

none! you can just watch. if you want to try things on your own, you'll need a minimum of:
  • a modern cell phone
  • OR a camera and modern computer


About your Facilitator:

I've been doing video production in one form or another since the 90's. I currently run Make's Youtube channel and have experience doing video that is a wide range from scrappy cobbled together stuff to polished professional production.
