What You'll Do:
This summer, experience an exciting new opportunity with Maker Camp: Daily live interactive robotics shows with CodeJoy!
About the Show: CodeJoy’s revolutionary new show puts students in the driver’s seat – teaching them to code, then watching as their code controls CodeJoy’s cardboard robot world in real time! Join Kelsey and her robot friends, Matt the Robot, Elby, and all the rest, as we learn to code and solve interesting problems. How do robots dance? What does a robot’s memory look like? How can YOU play robot mini golf? Students will code their way through these and more! Shows change weekly for 5 weeks and include:
- Robot Mini Golf : Program real motors and play robot Mini Golf LIVE!
- Robot Aerobics : Puppeteer live robot dancers in a robot dance class!
- Robot Memories : Help Grandma Dotty fix her broken memories by coding motors and LEDs!
- Robot Relaxation : Calm down some anxious robots with LEDs and breathing techniques!
About the Experience: Students log into the CodeJoy.Live site individually from a computer or Chromebook. All live video, live chat, and live coding run through the site. No special hardware, software, or experience is necessary. Students’ video is off, and chats are private to the host, and no student data is saved, so all CodeJoy shows are completely secure. Participation in these 45 minute shows is limited to 50 participants each show, and with 300 affiliate Maker Camps this summer, spots will fill up quickly! Be sure to reserve your campers’ spots today!
