What inspired you or what is the idea that got you started?

The need of a machine that could print at 45° without restrictions, fast and accurate, without a conveyor belt, this way I developed a fast and accurate machine without size restrictions in one axis, also needed it to print at 90°, and easy to change tools to work with addictive and subtractive Tech in same machine. At the moment I'm implementing a 5axis plug and play tool for this same machine.

What is your project about and how does it work?

It's about thinking out of the box in concern to addictive and subtractive Tech, it works like a regular 3D printer at 90°, then mechanically the frame changes shape and it's ready to print at 45°. The news here is that without a conveyor belt I can now make precise parts and can get the same result in series production at a speed impossible to do in a conveyor belt concept. The transforming frame and tool change makes it easy to use it to cut and engrave wood and soft metals, foam cutting and vinyl cut for example.

What did you learn by doing this project?

Learned a lot on recycling and up-cycling materials , as this project was made with "trash".
Learned new skills like soldering, cutting, and working steel for example.

What impact does your project have on others as well as yourself?

I really believe I have a real Maker tool, I need something now. This machine can do it, from PCB to big 3D printed parts, to sticker, to wood work, aluminum etc.

Although I'm the only user right now, the experience on this project tells me this is a time, work, and money saver for me as a Maker.
